BBC Radiophonic Workshop

DAW(Digital audio workstation)が一般化した現在は、手軽にさまざまな音色が作れるようになりました。*
1950年代、まだコンピュータを音楽に使うという発想など無く、シンセサイザーもほとんど実用化されていない時代にSound Effectsを作り出そうとした人たちがいました。BBCのRoom13に設けられたワークショップに集った人々は性別も年齢も超え、実験的な音作りを試みたといいます。
